Management of Teak and Bamboo plantation can give to global sustainability in nature. The main objectives of this research paper to assess the overall carbon storage and carbon sequestration through Teak plantation and Bamboo plantation. Studies suggested that Bamboo is abundant in India to have more than 13.96 million hectare under Bamboo cultivation. Bamboo covers nearly 13% of India forest area making it is world second largest Bamboo growing country. Bamboo is come under C3 plant, having natural photosynthesis capabilities this is one of major advantage to mitigating climatic changes having property in rapid biomass production and renewability. Today Bamboo has gained attention for absorbing substantial amount of carbon dioxide from atmosphere. Bamboo can be utilized for various forests based climatic change activities including afforestation, reforestation, forest management and avoided deforestation. The objective of this paper was to evaluate and assess the overall studied carbon sequestration of CO2 through forest management by Teak (Tectona grandis L.) and Bamboo plantation in environment.
