Stubble burning: an environmental concern in India

ABSTRACT

Stubble burning has been a major contributor to air pollution, especially in South Asia (India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan). The present study by the author highlights the terrible nature of stubble burning by examining farm fire incidents, pollutant emissions, its harmful impacts. This review article carries the message that stubble burning can consequence in harmful effects on the human health, environment, crop growth, visibility, natural ecosystems, and physical infrastructure. The article description will illustrate the potential to reduce PM2.5 mass and Effective Ways to Stop the Burning of Stubbles by reducing emissions from traditional energy sources across various Indian states parts.
